A beautiful hippo from the Zoo Series designed by Bertil Vallien for Boda (later became Kosta Boda) in 1975. Swedish made quality art glass figurine. Has a flat back and is simplified, stylised and lightly 3D.
He's the 10cm long 'Flodhäst', the smaller version. Handmade from a mould with bright clear crystal content. Very good condition. His ears are pointy from the moulding process.
Mid-century, vintage collectable. Perfect for a collector, as a paperweight or ornamental for display.
