A beautiful Bitossi pottery vase. Designed by Aldo Londi in the late 1950s, this is the Rimini Blu design and probably dates from the 1970s-1990s.
A medium-sized ceramic vase, made from a rough clay/stoneware, with straight-sided stepped cylindrical design. I believe it's model no 729. Impressed horizontal rows of stamps, crosses, dots, circles - all typical of this design by Londi. Shades of blues and turquoise, like Mediterranean seas. Unstamped to the base. Handmade and rustic in feel and nature. 
Excellent condition - these are very prone to glaze flakes due to the rough clay - but this example has no chips and is great. 15.5cm tall x 6.6cm wide rim x 9cm widest.
