A super complete set of Chance Glass small glasses. Presented in their original gold tone metal carrier with black rubber feet - very much that 1950s/1960s vintage barware style.
Calypto was designed by Michael Harris (Mdina & Isle of Wight Glass) in 1959 when he freelanced at the factory. The design is a distinctive graphic line drawing image of tropical style leaves and flowers on a stem.
Each pressed-glass glass is 6.5cm (2.5") tall and holds around 90ml - a larger shot glass, or aperitif, starter/taster appetiser, port, sherry sizing. Gold coloured metal wire carrier is 17 x 11 x 15cm.
Glasses are very good with no chips or nibbles. White print is very good - I can't see any flaws to the print. Some slight wear to the gold gilt trimmed rims. The gold coloured carrier has naturally worn/aged/patina'd over the years, so has some darker rustier patches. See all pics.
