A crackle/shrink glazed 'fat lava' era pottery small vase which I believe is by Jasba Ceramics, West Germany - Cortina decor. Other similar vases were made by Jopeko. Apx 1950s to 1960s vintage; the design and technique dates from 1955. Turquoise blue glossy glaze underneath with white crackled textured overlay, with some turquoise glazed vertical stripes - a more unusual colour combination. Light coloured clay base. It is stamped on base with '521/10', I think. It is 10.5cm tall x 7.5cm widest. Outer rim is 4.5 x 3.5cm. Suitable as a small vase for a few flowers, or as a stand alone turquoise ornament. Very good displayable and collectable condition. Two areas of thinner glaze to the rim. The crackles and textures are deliberate - handmade. Price includes P&P to the UK.
