A beautiful stylised seated cat figurine... Made in Italy and signed to the base with 'Italy 5558'. 
I believe this little fellow is 1960s-1970s mid century vintage, and the figure has been moulded then hand painted. He's ceramic with glossy white with black stripy decor, big blue eyes and some finer detailing around the face. Unknown maker.
Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. Signed to the base, also with some pencil written figures.
15cm tall. A very nice example - perfect for a vintage, retro/kitsch or mid-century home.
