A vintage vase by Scheurich Keramik, West Germany. Known as the Foligna or Foligno design vase, I believe. Dating from the 'fat lava' 1960s/1970s era, this is dark or royal blue with two vibrant red stripes. Geometric flower shapes, in two rows of patterns (the shorter version of the design) with whiter outlines. Glossy glazes with glossy blue black inside. Mid Century Modern and retro in styling - perfect statement for your teak sideboard and to add to a collection.
The shape is 289-18... 18 denoting 18cm tall (well, slightly taller). 11.5cm wide max. Stamped to the base. Perfect size for a bunch of flowers/sticks.
Very good condition with no chips or cracks or repairs or crazing. It has a spot of thin or missing glaze on the ringed neck.
Price includes P&P to the UK.
