A fabulous art glass bowl, by Tamara Aladin for Riihimäen Lasi Oy / Riihimaki, Finland. Circa 1960s/1970s mid century... It is a vibrant cobalt or royal blue colour and is pressed/moulded glass. The round straight-sides bowl has moulded Greek Key geometric patterns around, raised and 3D. Moulded and hand finished, it is design no 5330 and known as a Taalari design. (Other shapes, sizes and colours are available in this range). 8" or 20.5cm wide x 7.5cm tall. Really good condition for age/era with no signs of use. One tiny sharp invisible area underneath the pattern where it joins the baseline. Rim is excellent, as is the inside. Some moulding lines. Pretty amazing for 40-50 years old... I'd give it a 9.5/10 - a lovely example and stunning on display! Free P&P to the UK.
