A super Sterling silver 925 bar brooch dating from either 1973 or 1992. It's hallmarked as by 'KL' and has the lion and lion's head assay marks and 'S' for the date.
The bar (rounded rectangular shape) has been welded with loads of random jewellery making silver off-cuts - balls, loops, random shapes. It's very modernist and brutalist in styling, so I'd like to believe it's 1970s vintage rather than 1990s. 
Very nice vintage condition. 5cm x 1cm. It has a old-fashioned style hook under fastening, so would stay in place when being worn. Looks great when it catches the light, a curious and conversation piece.
