A 1970s (or so) mid-century modern/Danish style wooden fish-shaped corkscrew and bottle opener. I'm unsure of the wood type - it's a light coloured wood with a striking grain. The fish is lightly varnished from time of manufacture and he has two small black bead eyes. He has a steel corkscrew from his nose and his open mouth forms a bottle opener. Nicely sculpted wooden modernist simplified shape. No maker's marks, so unknown origin.
He's in very good sturdy condition. He's got a great natural sheen with just a couple of small surface marks. No chips or cracks. 25cm long.
Perfect for a mid century home, and for your retro bar or man-cave. Probably more for display/show.
