A beautiful vintage art glass shallow dish or ashtray - Visa designed by Timo Sarpaneva in the mid 1960s. These came in various sizes, this is the smallest available, the 11cm or 4 1/4". It's very similar to the Riite design and comes from the same time, but the rim is slimmer and pointier. Circa 1970s.
Crystal-content clear bright glass, ice textured base with smooth uppers. Internally its flat and round - perfectly suited as a candle holder for a pillar candle. It maintains part of its original vintage triangular 'i' label.
Excellent condition with no chips or marks, looks to be unused. Roughly 11cm x 3cm. Internally 8-8.5cm wide. Handmade, so glass undulates and has ripples.
