A fabulous art pottery vase by Ilkra Edel Keramik, West Germany. Model no 2/15...
Dating from the 1960s/1970s era it is brown/black hand-painted wide horizontal stripes over yellow. The daffodil yellow remaining forms slim arcs and points. All satin glazes and smooth over a rounded pot/vase. Mid century and retro in style. Internally it is smooth and the same yellow. Stamped to the base with the model number.
No chips or cracks, and excellent condition for age and era. 15.5cm tall, about 11cm widest, outer rim 8.3cm, inner neck apx 4cm. Looks fab on display on a mid-century sideboard, perfect for any West German pottery collector!
