A large and striking signed 1960s-1970s Studio Pottery indoor plant pot holder... It may well be by one of the Poole Pottery Delphis artists, and is signed 'A' with a loop around it, but the base is not typical of Poole. Please let me know if you can confirm the maker/artist.
The modernist planter is cylindrical with straight sides and glazed vibrant red with abstract blue/orange circular designs, hand drawn black wavy lines, and white dots - all typical colours and designs of Poole. Trimmed black and black internally. Unfinished pale clay base - base is signed by the artist.
Good condition with a few small signs of its previous life, but very useable and displayable. A pair of tiny disguised rim chips, see middle of photo five. A scratch shown on the last photo. Some water discolouration within with crazing at the bottom. No cracks, and has the right 'ring'  to it. Looks great on display.
A good sized larger planter at 14.5cm tall x 18.5cm wide - would suit a flower pot up to 13.5cm tall x 15cm wide. Very retro and typical of mid century Studio or West German pottery - fun and vibrant.
