A vintage pottery vase by Scheurich Keramik, West Germany, dating from the mid century 1950s-1960s era. This vintage pottery vase is has a a matt black background, central glossy red panel, and glossy white wax resist lines. The red panels have little dots of yellow within. It maintains its original vintage label.
It's a straight and slim waisted shape. Mid Century Modern and retro in styling - perfect statement for your teak shelving and to add to a collection. 
The shape is 520-22... 22 denoting 22.3cm tall. 7.5cm wide max. Inside rim is 5cm wide. Good size for a few flower stems. Stamped to the base with the model number '520 22'.
Good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Please see photos showing decor, colour and condition, there are two little gouges to the glaze on the same face revealing the clay below - last two photos. These could easily be disguised with pencil/pen. Some small marks/scratches.
