An excellent distinctive Kingfisher Blue 'bark' textured vase by Geoffrey Baxter for Whitefriars, England. The design appeared in the Whitefriars catalogues from about 1967-1980, with Kingfisher available for about six years from 1968-1974. 
19cm tall, or 7.5" - so the Medium version from the range. 8cm wide at rim. Cylinder shaped, cased in clear glass at the base. Weighs over 1kg. Handmade - mouth blown into a mould.
Pretty excellent, collectable condition. Base shows some minimal signs of its age. Stunning on display, perfect for that MCM teak sideboard. This colour-way is so vibrant!
